It is important to note that ILA is not a recruitment company and for this reason does not purport to offer any formal services as such. As a well established company however, we are often made aware of vacancies with employers. We are therefore in certain circumstances able to offer introductions to these employers in an informal manner.

Job Opportunities

• All trade involved with the Christchurch rebuild including: Painters, builders, engineers, stonemasons, quantity surveyors, bricklayers, joiners, glaziers
• Class 5 (heavy goods) Drivers
• Chefs
• Accountants

INZ maintain a number of lists for occupations in demand. These include the Long Term Skill Shortage List, Immediate Skill Shortage list and Canterbury Skill Shortage List.

If your occupation is included in one of these lists it does not necessarily mean that the occupation is recognised as 'skilled' for the purposes of a residence application.

If your occupation is not included in one of the lists that does not necessarily mean that there is no demand for your skills or that you will not be eligible for a work visa.
