Jay Shadforth

ABOUT US

Consultants for New Zealand Immigration, we offer a range of services to meet the varied needs of those emigrating to New Zealand and have been serving the requirements of NZ migrants since 1999. We specialise in ensuring that all New Zealand immigrants are treated fairly under New Zealand immigration policies & law, and our immigration consultants can help you resolve any issues that might face you in your desire to stay legally within New Zealand.

Jay established ILA in 1999 following three years of experience as an Immigration Specialist in the Christchurch legal community. Jay has maintained full membership with the New Zealand Association for Migration and Investment, since the establishment of ILA and in the first year it was offered, obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Immigration Law and Practice in New Zealand from Massey University (2000).

As of 25 Agust 2008, Jay Shadforth secured her full licence, recognising her as proficient in all areas of Immigration Law and recognised by law as a Licensed Adviser.

Jay Shadforth's incentive to establish her own firm came from the desire to provide a professional yet personal service to her clients in appreciation of the importance of their decision not only to immigrate, but to entrust that decision to our care.

Whilst Jay handles all forms of immigration applications, she specialises in s61 applications and immigration appeals.

It is a sad fact but true, that the international reputation of the immigration industry is one which has been tarnished by fraud and poor representation.  Naturally, this reflects poorly on those dedicated professionals who genuinely know what they are doing and have a passion for their work.  It is therefore our aim to provide clients with as much accurate information as possible in the first instance, in an effort to give clients confidence and assurance, resulting in success!

Whether you are applying for temporary entry, residence, or need the more specialist skills in regard to appeals to the Residence Appeal Board, Removal Review Board, Refugee Status Appeals Authority or even directly to the Minister of Immigration, you need to be sure that the very first information advice  you   receive is accurate, up-to-date and reliable.

Anyone providing New Zealand Immigration Advice must be licensed according to the Immigration Adviser Licensing Act 2007.
